Professional Software Development Experience

Below are some of my notable professional experiences working for clients over the last 20 years.

ADP

Lead Software Engineer | February 2018 - Jan 2022

I created components for ADP’s Payroll Innovation platform using Angular, NRWL, HTML, SCSS and Javascript/Typescript (NodeJS). I implement ed specifications for new Angular components that are utilized across ADP’s development teams, and for my efforts, I received ADP’s GPT 2019 Intrasource Award for the most active contributor to their internal open source component library SynerG

I also designed methodologies & experiences on how payroll data would be displayed and presented to various personas i.e. different personas would have different experiences based on their roles & permissions.

CBS

Web/.NET Developer | December 2015 - April 2016

I built a web application to help CBS Sports manage their video & image highlights (used during their sports shows), written in HTML5, CSS & Javascript (AngularJS 1.4.*). I wrote the application layer in .NET - Web API; I added authentication using Azure Active Directory; I created the application’s video content store using Azure Blob Storage & MongoDB hosted on MongoLabs.

I also Implemented an application that managed advertisement slots for popular CBS shows (“Big Bang Theory”, “The Price is Right”, “Let's Make a Deal”, etc) using HTML5, CSS & Javascript (AngularJS 1.4.7). Application layer - Web API

Verizon Wireless

Web Developer | December 2014 - November 2015

I built a KPI dashboard application for the Alpharetta Verizon Wireless Call Center using MVC 4, AngularJS, SQL Server 2008R2. I also created a Focus Group tracking application which allowed users to search through a catalog of questions and answers asked and proposed at various scheduled focus group meetings. Implemented with HTML, CSS & Javascript - MVC 4.

Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory

Web Developer | May 2012 – August 2013

Implemented a catalog application for Johns Hopkins’ Applied Physics Laboratory utilized in maintaining records of biological agents/micro-organisms originating in countries all over the world using HTML, CSS (Bootstrap framework) and Javascript (Knockout) and ASP.NET MVC.

I also developed graphing components and functionality for several web applications using Flash-based libraries, custom JQuery plugins and custom HTML elements.

Lockheed Martin – CITIC Contract

Web Developer & Project Server Admin | October 2010 - May 2012

I created a custom SharePoint and Project Server integrated web-based dashboard application to provide top-level overviews and summaries of project plans for Lockheed Martin’s Project Managers using ASP.NET, HTML, CSS & Javascript (ExtJS and JQuery).

I also aided their Project Managers in performing rigorous analysis on complex financial data extracted from Excel/CSV based reports (using .NET based component object model libraries for Microsoft Office) which were used to estimate certain key points to determine the health of various projects (i.e. budget information, variances in cost from week to week, percentage cost spent over periods of time, etc.)

With this data, I created various reports used to provide various views and extract specific data from all project plans from Project Server across their numerous projects.
